Marco Sabatini was born in Milan on 6 May 1968. He graduated with a degree in Business and Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1993. He joined Studio La Croce in 1996 and made senior partner in 2001. He started out dealing primarily with bankruptcy proceedings and technical consultancy for civil and criminal courts, before broadening his professional horizons to include corporate restructuring operations, with a particular focus on financial debt restructuring. Together with Mr La Croce, he is responsible for overseeing the Corporate Crisis Management Department in Milan. He has many years of experience managing corporate crises through legal tools, voluntary liquidation proceedings (including Italian subsidiaries of international groups), and out-of-court settlements. He has held and currently holds positions as an independent member on the boards of several operating companies, as well as a legal liquidator during insolvency proceedings at several of Italy’s courts.
