Fabio Zambelli was born in Bologna on 6 January 1956 and graduated with a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Bologna. He has been a senior partner at Studio La Croce’s Bologna office since 2020. In 1992, he founded Studio Associato Ungania e Zambelli with Pier Luigi Ungania, which later became Buscaroli Ungania Zambelli e Associati in 2019. From 1980 to 1988, he worked at Studio Cazzola, before becoming a partner at Studio Landi Commercialisti in 1988.He has specialised expertise in the fields of national and international corporate and tax law, extraordinary transactions, M&A and business contracts.He has consolidated experience in consulting with entrepreneurs, directors and management teams at private SMEs (including multinational ones), with a particular focus on tax planning, intercompany relationships within corporate groups, and extraordinary finance transactions.  He is an independent member on boards of directors and boards of auditors.He has been a member of the Council for the Association of Accountants and Accounting Experts in Bologna for two terms.He has also attended study commissions for the Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts in Bologna.
